Summary of Job Role:
EA Gibson Shipbrokers is looking to recruit an LPG Product Broker to work on the Gas/LPG desk in our Singapore office. You will contribute to, and build out Gibson’s broking presence in China, effectively and profitably conclude LPG product deals working in conjunction with an existing team, and with existing and new clients. For this role you will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience, be motivated and be driven to succeed.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Profitably generate income from servicing existing and new clients, working with the team to drive this.
• Build strong relationships with existing and new clients for enduring business support.
• Face to face relationship building, individually and with colleagues across Gibson’s product and LPG desk.
• Be able to assimilate market intelligence and trends to support clients, colleagues, and Gibson’s internal research function.
• Diligently update proprietary software for company reporting, client support and the research database.
• Commitment to travel within China and internationally to engage with colleagues in other main offices and for training purposes.

• Good competence with proprietary and commercial software (for example: Microsoft Office, Trigonal, reMark5, Fink - Propel).

• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Good accurate command of spoken and written business English, and ideally native fluency in Mandarin.
